العقاقير المضادة للالتهابات (المسكنات) عكسية تمنع التصاق الصفائح الدموية و التجميع و قد إطالة وقت النزف في بعض المرضى. مع استثناء من الاسبرين على الصفائح الدموية آثار رأيت مع معظم مضادات الالتهاب غير الستيروئيدية في المعتاد الجرعات الموصى بها عموما طفيفة و من مدة قصيرة نسبيا ولكن قد يكون أكثر وضوحا في المرضى الذين يعانون الأساسية لوقف نزيف الدم تشوهات. نقص الصفيحات كما تم الإبلاغ عن نادرا خلال استخدام الأدوية المضادة للالتهاب. العلاج مع مضادات الالتهاب غير الستيروئيدية ينبغي أن تدار بحذر في المرضى الذين يعانون كبيرة نزيف نشط أو أهبة نزفية, بما في ذلك نزيف الدم و/أو تخثر العيوب المرتبطة الهيموفيليا, فيتامين K, بنقص البروثرومبين, الصفيحات, اعتلال الصفيحات أو القصور الكبدي الشديد. مضادات الالتهاب غير الستيروئيدية التي انتقائي تثبيط انزيمات الأكسدة الحلقية-2 (أي مثبطات كوكس-2) لا يبدو أن تؤثر على وظيفة الصفائح الدموية أو نزيف الوقت أشار إلى جرعات و قد يكون من الأفضل إذا خطر النزيف هو مصدر قلق.
